On 10th November 2015, clean cooking advocates descended on Accra in Ghana to deliberate on the progress so far made in the past five years since its inception in 2010. Dr. Wasirwa was among the presenters. He share the in house financing which has enabled Wana to improve the lives of 60000 Ugandans who are currently benefiting from this innovation. He stated at the conference that for customers who are not able to access packages which they pay back on a monthly basis are now benefiting from pay as you go service where they use community kitchens for such a service. He notes that this is a new trend in the communities where customers can continue using their usual 2000/= until such a time when they decide to switch to the in house financing service.
